The 2023 Longqing Gorge Ice Lantern Festival kicked off at the Longqing Gorge, a scenic spot in northwestern Beijing's Yanqing district, on January 10.
The lantern festival has an exhibition area of 200,000 square meters and displays nearly 350 ice and snow sculptures. The ice lanterns, ice sculptures and snow sculptures this year highlight four themes of Yanqing Legend, Ice and Snow Garden, Future World and Hello Antarctic.

People could follow and book tickets for the lantern festival on the official WeChat accounts of Beijing Longqing Gorge (北京龙庆峡) or Longqing Gorge Scenic Spot (龙庆峡风景区). To provide convenience for visitors from downtown Beijing, Yanqing has opened three shuttle bus lines, which set off from Qianmen station and head for attractions including Badaling Ski Resort, Wanke Shijinglong Ski Resort, the Great Wall at Badaling and the Longqing Gorge.
